About BearyTime

I’m a 24-year-old recent college graduate, but BearyTime’s story began when I was still a junior in college, sitting in my entrepreneurship class. Our class was chosen to pilot a new kind of course — one where the goal wasn’t just to imagine a business, but to actually create a real product we could take into the world.

For months, my classmates and I researched market opportunities, brainstormed ideas, and refined our concepts. By the end of the semester, we pitched our businesses to a panel, competing for seed funding. I didn’t make it to the top two teams who advanced to our school’s “Shark Tank” competition, but I left the classroom with something far more valuable — a deep belief and call that my idea could truly make a difference.

That belief came from the hundreds of conversations I had while validating the concept: a high-quality plush bear paired with personalized, family-driven storytelling. I used my student card to approach moms and grandparents in coffee shops, parks, and stores, asking if they’d be willing to help me with a “school project.” The response was overwhelming — almost everyone I spoke to said they’d buy it.

The journey wasn’t easy. Over the past two years, I’ve faced constant setbacks trying to find the right people and build a team I could trust, but I have been blessed to have such a fantastic team. With each challenge, my vision grew clearer: BearyTime would be about more than just a bear. It would be about connection.

Our mission is simple — to bring families closer together through the joy of storytelling, the warmth of a cherished plush, and the memories made in between. Every BearyTime bear invites creativity, giving children and their loved ones the freedom to craft unique adventures together.

My dream is for BearyTime to become a treasured tradition — a way for kids to make lasting memories with the people they love most.
